Aldama returned to the starting lineup in this game and led Memphis to win. He set a new career high for threes and matched his career high for points, which he set three days prior to this game. A dud against the Thunder was sandwiched between two 37-point outings. Aldama continues to be a consistent producer for Memphis, which is helpful with how many injuries they have dealt with in the frontcourt. Aldama is available in 55 percent of Yahoo! leagues but should be considered a must-roster player at this point.

Spencer has started three straight games for Memphis and has enjoyed success as a playmaker. He is averaging 10.7 assists per game during this stretch, which includes two double-doubles and a new career high for assists in this one. He hasn’t shot the ball as well as he had been as a reserve, but he has played well as a starter. As long as Ja Morant (ankle) remains out, Spencer will be worth rostering.

Gobert continued his dominance on the glass, extending his streak of games with at least 12 rebounds to six. Add in the defensive stats and percentages, and this was an excellent night for the veteran center. Over the last two weeks, Gobert has been close to a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Continuing on that path would go a long way toward ensuring that Gobert’s season-long fantasy value aligns with his Yahoo! ADP (68).

While this wasn’t the first time that Randle has played against the Knicks since being traded before the start of last season, this was the first game in which he took over. The Timberwolves forward was outstanding in the fourth quarter, scoring 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field. Randle didn’t attempt a three-pointer in the period, instead attacking the paint consistently. He’ll look to do more of the same against the Nuggets on Christmas Night.

The shorthanded Knicks failed to come up with an answer defensively for Edwards, whose 38 points were the most he’s scored since returning from the foot injury that sidelined him for three games. With Ja Morant and Vince Williams Jr. out due to injury, Spencer has been the Grizzlies’ starting point guard the last two games. After dishing out 11 assists in Saturday’s loss to the Wizards, the second-year guard tallied eight more on Monday. However, unlike Saturday, when he committed two turnovers, that category was an issue against the reigning champs. Spencer committed four on Monday, so the efficiency wasn’t as good as it could be. But that’s no reason for fantasy managers to hop off the bandwagon, especially with Spencer and the Grizzlies visiting Utah on Tuesday.

Aldama saw a massive uptick in usage with Brandon Clarke exiting this one after just a handful of minutes with a calf injury. The 24-year-old amassed a season-high 23 shot attempts and shot 65.2 percent from the floor, including knocking down 5-of-9 from three-point range.
