As has been the case on a few occasions this season, Edgecombe got going in the fourth quarter after being quiet for the first three. He shot 3-of-4 from the field in the final frame, helping Philadelphia bounce back from another brutal third quarter. It wasn’t enough to get the 76ers into the winner’s circle, however. Edgecombe’s production has slipped recently, with the rookie ranked outside the top-100 over the past two weeks. However, that’s just as much due to Joel Embiid’s resurgence as it is the rookie’s decreased scoring.

Oubre had another solid performance for the 76ers, once again showing that he can be valuable to category-league managers. Rostered in 27 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the 76ers’ wing has been close to a top-100 player over the past two weeks. With Philadelphia opening Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, it’s possible that Oubre is only available for three games.

Since being limited to 14 points in a January 14 blowout loss to the Cavaliers, Maxey has scored at least 20 points in five consecutive games. He had an efficient afternoon against the Knicks, but the third quarter was once again an issue for Maxey and the 76ers. He shot 1-of-5 from the field in the frame, and Philadelphia was outscored by a 30-13 margin. The 76ers rallied in the fourth, but the deficit was too big to erase.

One game removed from recording his first triple-double of the season, Embiid had another huge day at the office. There was a brief period in which he appeared to be favoring his left leg, but the 76ers’ center played 36 minutes. Embiid has looked more like his usual self, but a day off may be in the cards as Philadelphia opens its four-game Week 15 with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday.

Tyson continues to provide strong value as a starter for Cleveland. Darius Garland (toe) and Sam Merrill (hand) remained out, which allowed Tyson to remain in his role. Over his last four games, Tyson has averaged 21.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.3 triples while shooting 50.8 percent from the floor. While George’s points tally in his first game back after missing two for left knee injury maintenance, fantasy managers should focus more on the workload. He played 37 of a possible 53 minutes in the overtime victory, which is definitely a positive. Thursday’s version of Embiid may have been the closest that 76ers fans and fantasy managers have gotten to his “vintage” self this season. The 7-footer recorded his first triple-double of the season, and that included a few key assists to Tyrese Maxey during the overtime period. Embiid has stayed relatively healthy over the past month, and if that continues, he could wind up being one of the steals of the 2025-26 fantasy season.

Hours after being named an All-Star starter, Maxey was able to turn in a monster stat line. Most of the numbers are things he has done all season, but he was able to set a new career high for steals, obliterating his previous mark of five. Hunter followed up a poor two-game stretch with two solid performances in consecutive games against the 76ers. While he was able to score in double figures once again, it came inefficiently. Both the poor shooting and turnovers limited the impact that his rebounds and free throws would have made. Hunter has never been a great option in category leagues, and now that he is coming off the bench, his upside is limited. Still, he is better than what he put together in this game and should respond against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Mitchell didn’t do as much scoring as he typically does, but he made up for it with production in other categories. He nearly finished with a triple-double despite an inefficient night. Cleveland was missing multiple rotation players for this game, and other starters were struggling, which made this outing from Tyson so vital.
