George is back in the lineup after a two-game absence, but his return does not push Oubre to the bench. For the first time this season, the 76ers will go with the starting five that was projected during the preseason, with Dominick Barlow heading to the bench. Barlow is still on a two-way contract, so Thursday’s lineup may become the norm once everyone is healthy.

Not only did Mobley record his 16th double-double, but he also matched his season-high with 14 rebounds. Add in the steals and blocks, and this was a good night for Mobley managers, even with the limited scoring. Mitchell and the Cavaliers were coasting through the first half of Wednesday’s game, but they were unable to close out the Hornets until the final seconds. With Darius Garland (toe) out, the Cavaliers have to rely more on Mitchell as a playmaker instead of just looking to him for scoring. He’s recorded six assists or more in three of his last four games, and that should be a common occurrence while Garland is out.

Maxey extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to three, but the Suns made him work for everything he got on Tuesday. The good news for fantasy managers is that Maxey did not compound the poor shooting with a high turnover count. Tuesday’s game was the first for Edgecombe in which he scored at least 20 points since January 3. With Joel Embiid and Paul George out, there were more shots available to the rookie, whose 21 attempts were the most in a game for him since December 30. Edgecombe is shooting 41.3 percent from the field over the past two weeks, which has limited him to eighth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats.

Oubre scored 16 points in the first half of Tuesday’s game, giving the 76ers a needed boost with Tyrese Maxey struggling to get going. Hours after being named an All-Star starter, Maxey was able to turn in a monster stat line. Most of the numbers are things he has done all season, but he was able to set a new career high for steals, obliterating his previous mark of five. For the second time this season, Embiid was able to score 30 points in consecutive games. It took him some time to get on track, and he still isn’t as productive as he used to be, but he’s certainly still able to score at an elite level. He’ll continue to light up the scoreboard when he’s available, and his minutes have gone up, which is encouraging for his health. However, that doesn’t mean he’s going to play back-to-backs. Except him to be ruled out against the Suns on Tuesday.

With Paul George (knee) sidelined for the first leg of this back-to-back, Oubre was able to get the starting nod. He has been an inconsistent producer as a reserve, but he took advantage of this opportunity and had his highest scoring game since Nov. 8. Tyson wasn’t able to stay as hot as he was on Friday, when he scored a career-high 39 points. However, he was able to remain a productive option for fantasy managers. Hunter followed up a poor two-game stretch with two solid performances in consecutive games against the 76ers. While he was able to score in double figures once again, it came inefficiently. Both the poor shooting and turnovers limited the impact that his rebounds and free throws would have made. Hunter has never been a great option in category leagues, and now that he is coming off the bench, his upside is limited. Still, he is better than what he put together in this game and should respond against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Mitchell was the leading scorer for Cleveland and was one of five Cavs to score in double figures. This was Embiid’s fifth 30-point game of the season, but it wasn’t enough for the 76ers to get the win. His lack of contributions in categories other than scoring have limited his impact in category leagues; his 6.9 rebounds per game are the fewest of his career. Maxey didn’t do as much as a scorer, but he was able to contribute value across the board. He matched his career high for steals, which he has set two other times this season already. This game came after he was held to 14 points against the Cavs on Wednesday, so while it was a rough two-game series as a scorer, he was able to contribute in a bunch of other categories in this game. Mitchell didn’t do as much scoring as he typically does, but he made up for it with production in other categories. He nearly finished with a triple-double despite an inefficient night. With Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, Porter slid into the starting unit, and while he didn’t do much scoring, he was able to set up plenty of offense as a playmaker. Cleveland was missing multiple rotation players for this game, and other starters were struggling, which made this outing from Tyson so vital. He set a new career high for scoring and had the game-winning assist to Evan Mobley. Tyson also set a career high for three-pointers. He has had an excellent second season in the NBA and has benefited from a multitude of injuries on the perimeter. The Cavs haven’t had as much success as they did last season, which can mostly be attributed to all the games that rotation players have missed. However, Tyson has blossomed and should be an important piece for them for the rest of the season and beyond.

Give the Cavaliers credit for their work on the defensive end of the floor, especially in terms of defending Maxey. To say Hunter needed a night like Wednesday would be an understatement. In Cleveland’s two previous games, he totaled six points on 2-of-10 shooting from the field. Returning home did some good for the Philadelphia native, as Hunter’s 17 points were the most he’s scored in a game since December 22. Tyson has been productive for most of the season, but the last few games prior to this one had been rough. However, he was able to get back on track in this one by scoring at least 20 points for the fifth straight game. He had scored a total of 21 points across his four previous games, but he has largely been a consistent producer this season.
