With Jaylen Brown (illness) sidelined, the Celtics ran more of their offense through Pritchard when he was on the floor Monday night. After going scoreless on 0-of-4 shooting in Sunday’s win over the 76ers, he rebounded nicely in Milwaukee, getting up a team-high 23 shots. And the nine assists were the most in a game for Pritchard since December 20, when he recorded ten against the Raptors.

An issue for White on Monday was his shooting from inside the arc, as he made just one of his six attempts on the night. However, shooting struggles have rarely prevented the Celtics guard from providing excellent overall value. The nine assists were the most in a game for White since February 11, and he has recorded eight or more in six of his last eight appearances. White will look to clean up the shooting in Wednesday’s game against the Hornets.

The Celtics being down two starters, Jaylen Brown and Neemias Queta, did not prevent Hauser from doing what he’s expected to in Monday’s 108-81 victory. He shot 4-of-8 from beyond the arc while providing the bonus of a complete stat line. Hauser remains a player whose fantasy value is limited to one category, but on Monday, he showed he can do a bit more when the Celtics are shorthanded.

Starting in place of Jaylen Brown (illness), González had the best night of his rookie campaign in Milwaukee. Recording season-highs in points and rebounds, the 6-foot-6 wing finished with his second double-double. His value in redraft leagues depends on Brown’s availability, while dynasty league managers must continue to roster González.

Apparently, getting to sleep in one’s own bed can go a long way toward ending a shooting slump. Pritchard finished the Celtics’ road trip on a bad note, shooting 3-of-19 from the field in games against the Suns and Nuggets. He snapped out of that funk against the lottery-bound Nets, shooting 75 percent from the field overall and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Pritchard, whose production took off when he was moved to the bench in early February, will look to build on Friday’s performance when the Celtics host the 76ers on Sunday.

With Jaylen Brown and Nikola Vučević scoring 28 points apiece, White was able to take a back seat offensively in the 148-111 victory. After hitting double figures in his first two games as a Celtic, Vučević went on a run of four consecutive games with nine points or less. To say that he needed a night like Friday was an understatement. Vučević took advantage of an overmatched opponent and starting center Neemias Queta (8/2/1/2/1 in 15 minutes) getting into early foul trouble to have his best game since the trade. Fantasy managers who were on the edge regarding whether to drop Vučević may want to hold off, at least through Sunday’s game against the 76ers.

The Nets hung around until the third quarter, when Boston ripped off a 35-7 run to take control. Boston winning in a rout meant fewer minutes for Brown, who logged 30 on the night. The good news for fantasy managers was that he put up an excellent stat line, shooting 75 percent from the field and recording a complete stat line. O’Neale came up big when the Suns needed him most, scoring the team’s final seven points in Thursday’s 113-110 victory. His last basket came with nine-tenths of a second remaining, with the veteran wing knocking down a triple from the left wing. While Allen’s percentage wasn’t the best, he did what he had to offensively for a Suns team that is without its top two scorers. Allen knocked down six three-pointers, and his most important play may have been one in which he didn’t shoot the ball. The Suns guard was able to get downhill on the team’s final possession, putting the Lakers in rotation defensively. Allen’s pass to Collin Gillespie was followed by one from Gillespie to Royce O’Neale, who hit the game-winning three with nine-tenths of a second remaining. While Jaylen Brown’s MVP-level play is the biggest reason the Celtics have exceeded expectations thus far, Queta’s improvement has been nearly as significant. The Celtics’ center recorded his tenth double-double of the season in Tuesday’s victory while also tallying two blocked shots. With Jaylen Brown unavailable due to injury, the Celtics needed a bit more from White offensively than they’ve received recently. Unsurprisingly, he answered the call, recording his first 20-point game since before the All-Star break while shooting 50 percent from the field.
