Playing against his former team for the first time, LaVine wasn’t able to have a big night. He only scored three points in the first half, all of which came at the free throw line. This ended up being LaVine’s worst game since being traded to Sacramento, which was rather disappointing for the #RevengeGame narrative. LaVine should bounce back against the Bucks on Saturday, but this was a missed opportunity for him.

With Domantas Sabonis sidelined, Lyles has been able to step up as a solid offensive option off the bench for Sacramento. He did plenty of damage early on and had 14 points with four three-pointers in the first half. He ended up setting a new season-high for scoring despite not hitting any triples in the second half. Jonas Valanciunas only played 15 minutes on Thursday while Lyles logged 24 minutes. Clearly, even if Lyles still isn’t playing a massive role, he has been the preferred option over the last few games.

Chicago didn’t have any answers for Malik Monk, especially in the first half as he entered the break with 19 points and five three-pointers. He didn’t knock down any triples after halftime, but he was still able to set a new season-high for scoring despite the loss. Monk had quite the rough patch that lasted from the middle of February until last week, but he has figured things out recently. Over Sacramento’s last three games, Monk has averaged 28 points, 6.7 assists and 4.3 three-pointers per game.

LaVine missed Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers for personal reasons but is available to play against his old team. He should slot back into his usual role. With Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Zach LaVine (personal) unavailable, the Kings effectively went with a seven-man rotation Wednesday night. The good news for Doug Christie is that both reserves, Carter and Trey Lyles, were productive. Carter scored a season-high 16 points and provided solid value in the rebound, assists and steals categories. Lyles added 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer in 30 minutes. With Sabonis out for at least a week and LaVine’s status for Thursday’s game against the Bulls undetermined, Carter and Lyles could be worthy of a look in deep leagues.

Monk has scored 20 points or more in two straight and three of his last five outings. On Wednesday, he recorded a complete stat line, including eight assists, the most he’s had in a game since March 3. Over the past two weeks, Monk has been a top 75 player in eight-cat formats. And it is not unreasonable to expect him to maintain that production level for the remainder of the season.

Ellis replaced Zach LaVine (personal) in the Kings’ starting lineup Wednesday night and did not miss a shot. He made all four field goal attempts and shot 2-of-2 from the foul line, reaching double figures in scoring for the second time in six games. Even if LaVine is available for Thursday’s game against the Bulls, Ellis is well-positioned to provide additional fantasy value due to Domantas Sabonis’ (hamstring) absence. At a minimum, those who added Keon should hold onto him through the end of Week 20.

With the Kings playing without Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, they needed DeRozan to step up offensively. Deebo answered the call, shooting better than 50 percent from the field in 36 minutes on the court. It has been a rough stretch for Monk, but he had an excellent performance to lead the Kings to a win on Monday.
