While Clayton was out for Monday’s loss to the Warriors with a calf contusion, Coward left in the first half with a sore right knee. Both players are considered doubtful for Wednesday’s game, with the latter’s potential absence being more impactful. Pippen played 20 minutes off the bench on Monday, two fewer than his season debut against the Trail Blazers on Friday. However, like teammate Ty Jerome, the minutes restriction did not prohibit Pippen from providing solid value in multiple categories, including assists and steals. With Cedric Coward (knee) not returning for the second half, Pippen replaced him in the lineup. That could be the Grizzlies’ course of action if Coward can’t play in Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.

After totaling 11 points and six rebounds in his first two appearances as a Grizzly, Hendricks had one of his best games of the season on Monday. Recording his first double-double, the 6-foot-9 forward recorded a season-high 10 boards. And the 15 points were the most in a game for Hendricks since December 23, when he dropped 21 on the Grizzlies while still with the Jazz. With Santi Aldama (knee) out, there’s more room for Hendricks within the rotation, even if he isn’t a true center. There may be some deep-league value to be had during the silly season because of Hendricks’ defensive potential.

Despite still being under a minutes limit, Jerome has been a valuable fantasy option when available. He’s scored at least 19 points in four of his five appearances this season, shooting 56.7 percent from the field. With the Grizzlies only playing once more before the All-Star break, Wednesday against the Nuggets, availability should not be an issue for Jerome. So even if Jerome remains capped at 20 minutes, he’s more than capable of providing reliable fantasy value.

Westbrook appeared to roll his left ankle on a drive to the basket during the third quarter, and he would check out for good with just under six minutes remaining in the period. The veteran point guard logged 21 minutes, while DeMar DeRozan (eight points, one rebound and one assist) was limited to 20. Both played starter’s minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers, so this may have been more about Monday’s game being a blowout than anything else. However, fantasy managers need to prepare for the likelihood that Nique Clifford and Devin Carter will play more after the break than Westbrook and DeRozan.

Raynaud was the victim of the official scorer on Monday, as his rebound tally was adjusted down from 20 to 19. The rookie center missed out on his first 20/20 game, but that doesn’t take anything away from his night. With the Kings destined for the draft lottery, there isn’t much incentive to push Domantas Sabonis too far the rest of the season. For those wondering what the Grizzlies would do at the center position without Santi Aldama, the answer for their two games in Portland was to go small. Due to the Grizzlies being light on perimeter bodies, Saturday was a night where Small was able to get an extended runout. The rookie center took advantage of increased minutes on Friday and logged arguably his best game as a professional. He’s notched back-to-back double-digit rebound games and could realistically carve out a consistent role with this team, given where they are in the standings at this point in the season. Monk was consistent as a scorer throughout Friday’s contest, but his biggest moments came in the third and fourth quarters, when his three-point shooting put the Kings on a run and at one point gave them a fourth-quarter lead. All of the veteran combo-guard’s scoring came from deep in this game, as he finished with at least six triples for the third time this season.
