Spencer didn’t have a great day shooting the basketball, but he still offered excellent value in rebounds and assists. The second-year guard, who only committed one turnover, has hit double digits in assists in three consecutive games. With Ja Morant, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. all injured, and the former the subject of trade rumors, the point guard role belongs to Spencer for now. He’s worth rostering in deep leagues as long as Memphis is shorthanded on the perimeter.

Since scoring a career-high 37 points in a December 23 win over the Jazz, Aldama had not recorded more than 15 points in any game. That changed on Thursday in Berlin, as the Grizzlies forward/center hit all four of his three-point attempts. Zach Edey’s (ankle) absence has opened up additional opportunities for Aldama. Still, the impact has been muted since Jock Landale (6/5/1/1/1 with one three-pointer) has been the replacement in the starting lineup.

Coward finished a steal shy of a complete stat line in Berlin, and he’s been close to a top-75 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. With the Ja Morant trade rumors, the rookie wing is someone who could take on added value if the Grizzlies move their currently injured point guard and focus on improving their draft lottery odds. Memphis and Orlando play again on Sunday in London.

Days like Thursday are a reminder of what Jackson can offer to fantasy managers, even with his lackluster rebounding production. He scored 23 points in the first half before going quiet, but he did record his third 30-point game of the season. Jackson’s poor rebounding makes the defensive categories that much more critical when assessing his fantasy value, and he recorded four “stocks” on Thursday. He’ll look to end Week 13 on a high note when the Grizzlies play the Magic on Sunday in London.

Booker hurt his ankle in the first half against the Heat on Tuesday, but was able to return to the game and play 40 minutes. However, it appears that his ankle injury either tightened up or swelled up on him after the game. As of now, we shouldn’t expect this to sideline Booker for a long period of time. The Suns will hope that Dillon Brooks (illness) can play on Thursday, but Grayson Allen and Jordan Goodwin should see more minutes tonight.

Allen went off for 25 points and six three-pointers in the loss to the Heat on Tuesday. It was his first game with at least 20 points since November 12 against the Magic, over two months ago. Allen was instant offense off the bench with 25 points in 27 minutes while Royce O’Neale started and had eight points in 32 minutes. If Allen shows some more consistency with his scoring, it’s possible the Suns move him back into the starting lineup in short order.

Gillespie had a tough night shooting the basketball, as he was 0-of-6 from beyond the arc. The good news is that he still offered solid value in the rebound, assist and steal categories, so all wasn’t lost for those who still have him rostered. Booker and the Suns had little trouble taking care of the Wizards, so he only played 26 minutes. Coward, who has been battling a lingering ankle issue recently, took on an expanded role from a scoring standpoint in this one with Memphis still playing without mercurial guard Ja Morant due to an ongoing calf injury. The 22-year-old hoisted a team-leading 15 shots and knocked down 5-of-10 from three-point range to fuel his fifth 20-point effort on the season. He drained a pair of clutch treys in the final two minutes of regulation to put the Grizzlies ahead for good. He’ll continue to see an uptick in minutes and scoring opportunities while Morant and other key contributors for the Grizzlies remain sidelined. The Grizzlies are off until Thursday when they face the Magic before closing out the week with a rematch against Orlando on Sunday afternoon.

Landale has made the most of his recent opportunity, starting five consecutive games for the Grizzlies in place of injured center Zach Edey, who remains sidelined with a stress reaction in his left ankle. The 30-year-old big man has reached double-digit points in five of his last six games, while playing nearly 25 minutes during that span. One reason to consider streaming O’Neale while the Suns are without Jalen Green is the three-point production, and he came through on Friday. The veteran forward hit four of his six attempts against the Knicks while also offering solid value in the rebound category. The lingering questions are: how much longer will Green, who began his ramp-up process, be sidelined by his hamstring injury? And, will the Suns continue to bring Grayson Allen (10/3/1/1 in 26 minutes) off the bench? The answers will have a direct impact on O’Neale’s fantasy value.

Brooks didn’t record any defensive statistics on Friday, but he had another good night on the offensive end of the floor. He’s scored at least 20 points in 18 games this season, six more than his tally with the Rockets in 2024-25. Brooks’ overall game isn’t exactly fantasy-friendly, but he’s hovering just outside the top-100 in eight-cat formats this season. The move to Phoenix has done wonders for the wing, who’s enjoying a level of offensive freedom that he didn’t have in either Memphis or Houston.

Friday’s performance was rather routine for Booker, who has scored at least 30 points in three of his last six outings. Add in the assists and three-pointers, and category-league managers should be relatively pleased with the output. That said, many hoped that Booker would be able to offer first-round fantasy value this season, and it hasn’t happened. The defensive production is limited, and the emergence of Dillon Brooks (scoring) and Collin Gillespie (assists) has also factored into Booker’s reduced fantasy value. That said, there’s no need to panic unless you reached early to draft him.

Back in the starting lineup after missing two games with a sprained ankle, Coward’s playing time was restricted on Friday.
