X-rays came back negative for any fractures after Kelly was hit in the wrist by a 94-mph sinker from Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow during Sunday night’s game. The 30-year-old backstop will likely get a couple days off for the swelling to subside before returning to Chicago’s lineup. It’ll be Miguel Amaya handling the catching duties in his absence.

Suzuki will miss his second-straight game as he continues to battle an ongoing right wrist issue. There’s been zero indication he’ll require a trip to the injured list after re-aggravating the issue during Saturday’s showdown against the Dodgers. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. It’ll be Justin Turner filling in at DH on Monday night in San Diego.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Hernández is day-to-day with a stomach bug. It doesn’t sound likely he’ll wind up missing more than a couple games at most. The 32-year-old fantasy stalwart is hitting .281/.309/.563 with five homers, 16 RBI and two steals through 17 games. It’ll be Andy Pages in right field with Tommy Edman in center field on Monday night for the second consecutive game.

It’s an alarming development for fantasy managers that Doyle remains sidelined with ongoing left quad soreness after sitting out an entire three-game series against the Padres. The 26-year-old outfielder has been Colorado’s best hitter this season, batting .321 (17-for-53) with three homers, 12 RBI and one steal through 12 contests. It doesn’t appear that he’ll require a trip to the injured list quite yet, but it’s a situation fantasy managers should continue to monitor.

Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak told reporters on Monday that there isn’t a definitive return timetable for Mathews yet. The 24-year-old southpaw was one of last year’s biggest breakout prospects as he rode a significant velocity bump to a 2.76 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 202/49 K/BB ratio in 143 1/3 innings (26 starts) across four minor league levels. He’s gotten off to a calamitous start this season, walking 15 batters over 10 1/3 innings in three starts. It seems like there’s an explanation for his struggles, but he’s likely facing an extended absence, which eliminates his viability as a stash candidates in deeper re-draft leagues.

Woodruff is aiming for approximately four innings in his next rehab outing and is expected to need a couple additional starts before being ready to make his season debut. The 32-year-old former fantasy ace struck out five and allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings on Saturday for Triple-A Nashville in his rehab debut.

The Pirates can’t really afford to lose another catcher to injury with starter Joey Bart dealing with a back issue. Rodríguez was struck on the right hand by a pitch from ace Paul Skenes that deflected after hitting Nationals slugger James Wood in the opening frame. There should be an update on his status shortly.

Fulford gets his first call up to replace Kris Bryant (back) on Colorado’s active roster. He was off to a really nice start this season, hitting .395 (15-for-38) with five homers and one steal through 12 games in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats.

It’s not what you want to hear. Bryant has been a non-factor for fantasy purposes since signing a massive seven-year, $182 million contract with his hometown Rockies back in 2022. The ominous diagnosis, which is a syndrome associated with wear and tear on a spinal disc causing lower back pain, further clouds his immediate and long-term future. Rockies manager Bud Black told reporters on Monday night that Bryant is expected to only require a minimum injured list stint, but he’ll have to manage the ongoing back issue moving forward.

Manaea underwent an MRI on Monday that showed enough improvement that he’s been cleared to resume a throwing program. It’s a positive development after suffering a setback and receiving a PRP injection roughly two weeks ago. He’ll kick things off by playing catch off flat ground before progressing to bullpen sessions, but the Mets aren’t going to push him too quickly. Fantasy managers shouldn’t expect him to return until at least late May or early June.

Fantasy managers should prioritize getting Ozuna out of their weekly lineups before they lock on Monday evening. The 34-year-old veteran slugger will miss the club’s three-game series against the Blue Jays with hip inflammation and won’t return until Friday’s series opener versus the Twins, assuming he doesn’t require a trip to the injured list. It’s a developing situation that fantasy managers should monitor closely over the remainder of the week.

Snell was cleared to resume throwing by Dr. Neal ElAttrache after undergoing an MRI last week that didn’t reveal any structural damage in his left shoulder. Greene has been struggling recently, going 1-for-24 with 14 strikeouts over his last seven games. Obviously fantasy managers shouldn’t be concerned with such an extremely small sample size. However, it partially explains why he’s getting a day off to reset mentally with lefty Tyler Anderson on the mound for Milwaukee.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora refused to speculate on a potential timeline, but it’s seemingly a positive development that Fitts isn’t dealing with a high-grade strain. The 25-year-old hit the injured list this past weekend and is likely facing a multi-week absence, even in a best-case scenario. There should be some clarity here once he’s cleared to start a throwing program.

It’s merely an extra off day for Ozuna, who is dealing with a minor leg issue, according to manager Brian Snitker. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status over the remainder of the week, but Snitker downplayed concern about the issue prior to Monday’s contest in Toronto.
