Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell told reports that QB J.J. McCarthy (ankle) “is healthy and is expected to have a full week of practice before playing” in Week 9 against the Lions.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that J.J. McCarthy (ankle) “is going to be the starting quarterback for the Vikings, assuming he is healthy, which they believe he will be.”
